Louisville Orchestra Gala, Honoring Jim Welch

On Thursday, April 16, the Louisville Orchestra presents an extraordinary evening of celebration and music. Guests may choose between two ticket options:

Concert-Only Ticket
Experience a landmark Gala Concert at Whitney Hall featuring world-renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman with Teddy Abrams and the Louisville Orchestra. With his extraordinary technique and rich sound, Perlman brings to life music from some of the most iconic film scores, including John Williams’ stirring theme from Schindler’s List and Ennio Morricone’s beloved Cinema Paradiso. This unforgettable performance celebrates the power of music in film and Perlman’s unmatched artistry.

Full Gala Experience Ticket
Make it a full evening of celebration. Begin with a cocktail reception at the Muhammad Ali Center, followed by a seated dinner in View Pointe Hall, honoring Jim Welch for his vision and leadership. The evening culminates with the Gala Concert at Whitney Hall, featuring Itzhak Perlman and the Louisville Orchestra.

A Gala Concert and Dinner Package ticket grants you access to the full Gala evening. The night begins with a cocktail reception at the Muhammad Ali Center, followed by a seated dinner in View Pointe Hall. The evening culminates in a once-in-a-generation gala concert featuring the incomparable Itzhak Perlman with Teddy Abrams conducting the Louisville Orchestra at Whitney Hall.

To purchase a ticket to the concert only, select your seat and choose 'Standard Ticket'. 

To purchase a ticket to the full Gala experience including cocktail reception, dinner, and concert, select your seat and choose 'Gala Concert and Dinner Package'.
