Due to popular demand, the beloved NightLites Series expands to five Friday evening performances at the Ogle Center at Indiana University Southeast, pairing iconic masterworks in vibrant, thoughtfully curated programs. Designed as a dynamic, one night experience, NightLites offers a high impact concert format that is perfect for longtime listeners and those discovering classical music for the first time.
Ziwei Ma conducts Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2, featuring violinist Julia Noone, alongside Brahms’s Symphony No. 2. Teddy Abrams leads Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 and Haydn’s Symphony No. 88, and Na'Zir McFadden conducts Bizet’s Symphony in C with Mendelssohn’s Scottish Symphony. Gabriel Lefkowitz serves as both violinist and conductor for Vivaldi’s Four Seasons paired with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2. Molly Turner leads an evening of Debussy and Ravel favorites, including Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun and Mother Goose Suite.
