2026-27 Coffee Series

Now expanded to six concerts!

The Baird Coffee Series brings the power of our Classics concerts to Friday matinees, offering a shorter, intermission free performance that fits easily into your day. Each program features a thoughtfully curated version of our evening repertoire, paired with complimentary Heine Brothers Coffee.

A favorite among seniors, students, professionals and groups, the Coffee Series has become a welcoming community tradition, an easy way to gather, connect, and experience great music together before the weekend begins.

This season features major works and standout artists, including Verdi's "Requiem," Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2 with conductor Earl Lee, Brahms’s Symphony No. 4 conducted by Teddy Abrams, Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 with Peter Oundjian, and Beethoven Piano Concerto Marathon featuring Concertos No. 2 and No. 4 with Stewart Goodyear. The series also includes crossover moments like a Latin Jazz rendition of Rhapsody in Blue with pianist Ahmed Alom and Teddy Abram's premiere of Seasons in America featuring Ray Chen.
