Ticketing Terms & Conditions

Authorized Ticket Sales

The Louisville Orchestra Box Office (502.587.8681) and louisvilleorchestra.org are the only authorized sellers of Louisville Orchestra tickets. If you purchase tickets from another website or third-party vendor, your ticket may be counterfeit, and your seats are not guaranteed. Third-party ticket resellers may charge inflated prices for their own profit. We are unable to issue refunds or exchanges for tickets purchased through unauthorized sellers and cannot provide updates regarding time changes, cancellations, or other important information.

Tickets are for personal use only and may not be resold or distributed for any commercial purpose unless authorized in writing by the Louisville Orchestra. Reselling tickets on Louisville Orchestra property or at managed venues is strictly prohibited and may result in the cancellation of tickets without compensation.

Ticketing Information

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. Artists, programs, dates, and times are subject to change without prior notice. The use of cameras, audio, or video recording equipment is strictly prohibited. Due to local fire ordinances, every person, regardless of age, requires a ticket for admission. Baby/infant tickets may be available on a show-by-show basis; for details, please contact the Louisville Orchestra Box Office.

Resale, Lost, and Counterfeit Tickets

Tickets purchased from an unauthorized source may be lost, stolen, counterfeit, or in violation of resale policies and, if so, will be considered void. The Louisville Orchestra strongly discourages purchasing tickets from unauthorized sources and reminds patrons that scalping is illegal in the state of Kentucky.

If we suspect that tickets have been purchased for resale, we reserve the right to revoke the order without compensation. Violators may be subject to cancellation of tickets, refusal of entry, and legal action.

Conditions of Acceptance

A ticket is a revocable license, subject to termination at management’s discretion. Admission may be denied or revoked without compensation if a ticket holder acts in a disorderly manner, violates venue policies, or fails to comply with staff instructions.

By attending an event, the ticket holder grants permission to the Louisville Orchestra and venue to use their image or likeness in connection with any broadcast, photography, video, or other media reproduction of the event, whether now known or developed in the future.

The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks associated with attendance, including but not limited to injury, acts of others, and exposure to communicable diseases or illnesses.

Order Fees

Ticket service fees help cover operational costs, including staffing, software, and transaction processing. These fees are standard in the ticketing industry and are applied to all ticket purchases. Fees cannot be rolled into the base ticket price as the Louisville Orchestra does not retain all ticket revenue.

Canceled or Rescheduled Events

If an event is canceled, a refund will be issued to the original payment method. In some cases, ticket holders may be offered the option to receive credit toward a future purchase instead of a refund. Notification will be sent with instructions on how to request a credit.

If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or moved, the original tickets remain valid unless otherwise stated. Any refund or credit policies for postponed events are determined on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to event promoter restrictions.

Conditions of Ticket Sales

Latecomers are subject to deferred seating and may not be admitted until a designated break in the performance. The Louisville Orchestra reserves the right to change programming, dates, and times without prior notice. Recording devices are prohibited, and violation of this policy will result in the automatic termination of this ticket license.

If payment has not been received or has been refunded, the Louisville Orchestra reserves the right to revoke the ticket without prior notice or refund of amounts paid to any third party.

Warning

The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the event, whether occurring before, during, or after the performance. This includes but is not limited to injury, acts of others, and exposure to communicable diseases or illnesses. The ticket holder agrees that the venue, promoter, organization, agents, participants, and the Louisville Orchestra are not responsible for any injuries, expenses, claims, or liabilities related to such risks.
