The Cardinal Singers have earned international acclaim at some of the world’s most prestigious choral festivals and competitions in Europe, Asia, and Africa. The Singers, an auditioned chamber ensemble directed by Dr. Kent Hatteberg, was founded in 1970 as an outreach organization for the university. They continue their outreach mission locally, nationally, and internationally, performing for university and local functions, offering workshops, performing at choral conventions including the National Conventions of ACDA and NCCO, and competing and performing on the international stage.
