P.D.Q. Bach is a fictional, comedic composer created by American musical satirist Peter Schickele (1935–2024). Marketed as the "last and oddest" of Johann Sebastian Bach's 20-odd children, this persona allowed Schickele to perform parodies of classical music, featuring absurd instruments, witty musical juxtapositions, and intentional musical "badness".
