Additional Info
Romantic lyricism and symphonic grandeur collide in this dramatic pairing. Bruch’s beloved Violin Concerto, lush with passion and melodic warmth, contrasts with Bruckner’s monumental Symphony No. 4 his “Romantic” symphony full of sweeping vistas and architectural might. This program reveals the emotional spectrum of late Romanticism, led by Teddy Abrams and featuring soloist James McFadden-Talbot.
