The Louisville Orchestra is touring the Commonwealth once again, bringing an unforgettable evening of live music to your community. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
Led by conductor Teddy Abrams, this program blends powerful storytelling, high-energy finales, and stirring melodies from past and present. Highlights include Beethoven’s defiant Egmont Overture, Tchaikovsky’s explosive Symphony No. 4 (Finale), the sweeping drama of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 (Allegro), and Saint-Saëns’ virtuosic Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, performed by LO Concertmaster Gabe Lefkowitz.
The evening also features compelling contemporary works, including Brittany J. Green’s Testify, a bold and reflective piece exploring truth and transformation, and The Trestle Tree by Donald Sorah and Roy Crawford, inspired by Appalachian stories and landscapes.
Whether you're hearing an orchestra for the first time or returning for more, this concert promises connection, inspiration, and a celebration of music in your own backyard.
Admission is free, but seating is limited. Reserve your spot today.
